What is 3PE Coating?

3PE (three-layer polyethylene) coating is an advanced anti-corrosion system consisting of three layers: an epoxy powder primer, an adhesive layer, and an outer polyethylene layer. This structure combines the corrosion resistance of epoxy with the mechanical protection of polyethylene, creating a durable and reliable coating system for steel pipes.

Manufacturing Process

Strict quality control includes coating thickness measurement, holiday detection and adhesion testing to ensure coating quality.

Specifications

We supply 3PE coated steel pipes with outer diameters from 219 mm to 3620 mm. The base pipes are manufactured according to GB/T 9711, API 5L and ASTM A252 standards using Q235B and Q345B carbon steel. Custom coating thickness and pipe lengths are available to meet project requirements.
